"Voodoo Doo-Doo"

Films: Shrunken Heads (1994)

Alias: Tommy Larson, Bill Turner, and Freddie Thompson

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average human heads.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: One of the most recognized forms of voodoo is the shrunken head. Few things spook people more that seeing a shriveled up noggin that looks like it's bordering the lines of life and death. Fewer spooks others than those that are alive, too.

History: Friends Tommy, Bill, and Freddie are constantly heckled by the older obnoxious teens that they neighbor. But that couldn't prepare them for when said teens decided to outright shoot them on the spot for trying to make the neighborhood a better place. However, they would not stay dead. A voodoo priest that they knew well took it upon himself to bring them back in the form of disembodied shrunken heads. Soon, the three set out to exact vengeance on their killers.

Notable Kills: Nothing special

Final Fate: After a while, the shrunken heads manage to take out the teens and end their reign of terror. In spite of their vengeance being spent, they are still able to live and perhaps spread good justice wherever they go.

Powers/Abilities: Tommy can fire electricity, Bill can grow fangs, and Freddie can summon a switchblade. Both can reanimate the dead.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2-First things first, these heads only target snobbish sociopaths. Also, their effects work is horrifically abysmal, making them look more cartoonish than usual. At least their powers are interesting.

Trivia: -The practice of creating shrunken heads is only known to be done by the Jivaroan peoples of the Amazon rainforest. According to most of their religion, the shrunken head still houses its original soul, but it must now serve whoever shrunk the head. When the western folk demanded to have some, headhunters got a lot of extra contracts.

-The scene with the apocalypse fanatics in the bus was done with both a cameo from director Richard Elfman and a bunch of video store workers who won the role in a contest.

Heroes don't really revenge this hard. Or bizarrly.

Down the drain of obscurity.

I'd say 'have a drink', but that would be insensitive.
Makes you wish they did look like this. It would elevate this film a bit.
Karnstein, what happened to your head?!
